Urunon
Urunon is a world full of many different campaign settings inside a quasi-historical approximation of ancient Europe in the fourth century B.C. The entire canon of Dungeons and Dragons exists within this mythic geography. Bookended by two major cultures: Uldenheim to the north, and Alexander‘s kingdom to the south and east, Urunon swings between high-fantasy, dark fantasy, and themes of Sword and Sorcery.
Three thousand years ago, the dragon god Tiamat was slain and what followed was a thousand years of darkness for the old world of Daotyr. A millennia-long event known to the mages of Alexandria as the Rending. The Raelfaen cultures (the native peoples of Daotyr) survived the Rending and build what was to be known as the Orsolonic cultures, but that great civilization of magic and technology would eventually sink also beneath stone and wave. For several thousand years, men have become the dominant race, the city-builders, and the war-wagers— the latest in a line of world-makers upon the restless ocean of time.
Althea’s rule was ended by the coming of Alexander.
